NEW VENUE - GODALMING!
Purity will be starting courses in Godalming from September 2009. Beginners and Tasters are available to start from Tuesday 15th September at 6.30pm. Intermediate classes will follow in November 2009. Please see the website to book.

DATCHET-
There are only 2 spaces left for the Taster class at Datchet Health Club on 1st August.

BEXLEYHEATH -
Please note there will not be a class on 18th August 2009.

We believe this is the safest way to run classes, especially as all the teachers have been trained on how to teach moves safely and can work out if you are ready for certain moves. If you see someone doing a new move and would like to give it a go then by all means ask your teacher, I'm sure they will be happy to teach it to you, or give you advice on what moves will get you ready for it.

Purity will be getting a small line of tops with 'Purity' on the front and 'Student' on the back. These are black string vest tops with white writing. If you are interested in purchasing a top please let me know.

READING-
There is a drop in class in Reading on Saturday 11th June at a different time of 1pm, spaces are available, and there is a maximum of 2 students per pole. http://www.puritypoledancing.com/locations/readingberkshire.html

As the Reading classes have been getting very full I will soon be offering Intermediate classes on Tuesday evening. If you are interested in this date the do let me know.

DATCHET-
Purity courses will be coming to Datchet Health Club. There will be a taster day on Saturday 1st August, with courses to start on a weekday in September 09.

WRAYSBURY-
An extra Intermediate class will be introduced to Wraysbury on the 16th July. All the class times will be changing by 30 minutes, please see the website for the times and availability.

Thank you to all who came to the pole jam on the 18th April, we even have an article in the Reading Chronicle this week, its nearly a double page spread with a great write up and lots of photos, it came out on Thursday 23rd April, so do get your copy quick! The Pole Jam Launch Event at Barnehurst Golf Club in Bexleyheath last Tuesday went really well, nice to see so many new faces. Courses start on Tuesday 28th April.

Private lessons are available on Tuesday evenings at the Purity Studio in Reading.

Purity have organised a photo shoot with Jason Parlour on Sunday 26th April.

This is open to current students of Purity on a first come first serve basis. If you are interested in this but are not taking lessons with Purity then please get in touch and any spaces not filled will be offered to those on the waiting list.

From the 15 minutes you will get around 50 quality images, (in the past 15 minutes has proven enough time to get all the desired pole shots and some extra ones). You are welcome to team up with a friend and both share the 2 slots, so you can have 5 mins on and 5 mins off for 30 minutes to catch your breath and/or change outfit.

Thank you to all who came to the pole jam on the 28th Feb, photos will be online soon.

Bexleyheath Intermediate has spaces to start on Sunday 15th March at 7pm.

All the Intermediate and Advance classes are now one person per pole at the Purity Studio, smaller classes have always been a focus for the Purity School and I believe we are the only Pole Dancing School in Reading and surrounding areas offering course classes at one per pole, and of course at no extra charge ;)

There will be a new venue starting soon in Bexleyheath, Kent.

Private lessons are available at the Purity Studio on Wednesday evenings between 5pm and 8pm, and then 9pm-10pm. As well as during the day Wednesdays to Fridays and one off weekend dates.

Xpole have informed me that their prices will be going up by about 15-20%, they are unsure when this will be happening so may be a good idea to get your orders in soon.

It has been a busy busy month, lots of new photos, videos and blog are on the website now about Pantera, Miss Pole Dance and Pole Divas. Many thanks to all who came to support me in Miss Pole Dance and Pole Divas, it was a fun but scary time!

A new venue will open up in December 2008 in Wraysbury (nr Staines, Middlesex). The new teacher for this area is Leanne, she has been learning with Purity for quite sometime and has taken the task of completing the Purity Teacher Training and has been doing a very good job! (See below for start dates)

There is now an extra Intermediate class on Wednesdays in the Purity Studio in Reading at 8.35pm.

I am looking at starting a Casual Pole Class at the weekends in the Purity Studio, Reading. This will be a 1 hour class suitable for Absolute Beginners to Advance, priced at £7.
After the warm-up all students will work to their own level. The class will not follow a course structure and will not be on every weekend. You'll need to book in advance for each class you want to come to, as it will not be a drop in class.

This class would be great for:
# Those who can't come to a weekday class # Students who don't have their own pole at home, but would like more opportunities to practice # Students who need help with a particular move # Those who can't afford the course lessons at a particular time, but still want to keep progressing in a safe environment # Students who would like extra tuition # Those who would like to brush up on moves before moving to the next level

You do not have to be a Purity student to benefit from this class.

I would like to know your opinions on this type of class, even if you are not in the area and wouldn't come to this one in particular; I still value your input.

Thank you to everyone who came to the Purity Studio Launch Pole Jam on the 24th August. An extra evening will be starting in Twickenham, from the 9th October Beginners will be held on a Thursday evening.

I have writen up some new directions for the Purity Studio to make your journeys easier when there is traffic.

The legendary Pantera will be making a visit to the UK in October time. She is one of the most famous pole dancers around and released one of the first ever Pole Dancing DVDs (Poletricks 101). If anyone is interested in a workshop with her at the Purity Studio in Reading, then do let me know. If there are enough people wanting it then she will come to the Studio when she makes a UK visit this year.

The Purity Studio opened last week with the Launch of 2 free taster lessons which were nice and full. There will also be the launch event for those who already have some Pole experience on 24th August (see details below).

After much thinking I have found a way to make pole dancing more affordable. Some people find Pole Dancing can be an expensive hobby, but I would like to try and change that. From now on there will not be 6 week courses, you can pay for one month at a time for just £60 instead (Beginners and Intermediate). Think of it like a gym membership (although there isn't a contract), you pay for the one month on a particular date (which is the date of your first class), if you miss a lesson you miss out, but if you come to each class you are making a saving of about £4.50 per class!! Some months you'll get 4 lessons and others you'll get 5 lessons. So this is a much nicer solution than £110 for 6 weeks.

The Advanced classes are £70 per month rather than £130 for 6 weeks.

There is also the option of paying by standing order for those who are addicted to the pole. (Please contact me for Bank details)
